Auto-Sleepers, the UK’s leading motorhome manufacturer, has unveiled two brand new Peugeot-based motorhomes at the Alton Towers Conference Centre. The all-new Warwick and eagerly awaited Symbol models made their UK debut alongside the recently introduced Peugeot Sigma.
Representing a first for Auto-Sleepers, the two-berth Warwick is based on a long wheelbase Peugeot van chassis with the acclaimed 120bhp HDi diesel engine, offering comfortable accommodation in a user-friendly package. The new Warwick features a rear lounge layout and a full shower room with built in cassette toilet and washbasin. Generous standard equipment levels include a flat screen Freeview TV with DVD, full oven, grill and a hob and even an ironing board! Other thoughtful touches include storage under both lounge seats, a security safe set into the floor, an external TV aerial point and dedicated barbeque and shower points.
The ever popular Peugeot Symbol model has been fully updated to bring it in line with other models in the Auto-Sleeper range. Featuring the 100bhp HDi engine, the new Symbol is available in both two and four berth configurations. Key revisions include all new furniture, improved lighting, an electric entrance step, improved fresh and waste water tank capacities, a flat screen Freeview TV with DVD and aerial, a 110ah habitation battery and a new stylish integrated bathroom, amongst many others.
The kitchen area, featuring a large stainless steel sink and drainer with lift-up chinchilla glass cover, has also been refreshed.
Auto-Sleepers is also showcasing the recently launched Peugeot Sigma EK. The four-berth vehicle includes an over cab bed, remote central locking, a levelling sensor aid and an integral awning. The vehicle is fitted with a Truma gas space heater, plus a high capacity battery charger system. Creature comforts include a deluxe bathroom equipped with a swing out shower, in addition to convenient exterior access to storage beneath the seats and a large under floor locker.
