Sri Lanka here we come!

In October 2011 Auto-sleepers CEO Geoff Scott travelled to Sri Lanka to meet Arthur Senanayake the Chairman of IWS Leisure, with the intention of creating a new Auto-Sleepers international dealer.

As part of Geoff’s trip the Auto-Sleepers Gloucester, part of the Auto-Sleepers Mercedes-Benz County range, was launched during a presentation evening in Colombo. IWS Leisure chairman Arthur Senanayake commented, “These new luxury motorhomes are a first of its kind in Sri Lanka and with the extensive range of motorhomes that Auto-Sleepers provides, customers will be spoilt for choice.”

During the unveiling of the Auto-Sleepers product, Arthur Senanayake revealed that the company would introduce a Caravan Club concept as part of the introduction of the luxury motorhomes. Caravan camp sites will be set up in interesting and scenic locations throughout Sri Lanka to boost the tourism industry. IWS Leisure will rent out these luxury motorhomes with a driver to provide tourists and locals alike with the ability to explore the country’s tourist destinations at the comfort of their own home.
