Auto-Sleepers Staff Member Shows Stamina for Charity

Mark Burdett of the Auto-Sleepers Service Centre recently took place in the Peopleton Duathlon on the 14th March to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The course consisted of a gruelling 4 mile run followed by an 18 mile cycle and finished off with a final 2 mile run.

Having put in many hours of training prior to the race, Mark was dealt a foul blow by way of illness the week before the event. Determined to ensure his hard work paid off he still managed to finish with an impressive 42nd out of 109 competitors and claimed 12th position within his own class of the 40 – 49 year old age group.

A big congratulations must go out to Mark, who managed to raise a staggering £680 for his efforts in support of a very worthy cause.
